I use a cheap tape runner that I buy from either Oriental Trading Company or Walmart. You HAVE to get the permanent because the repositionable doesn't work at all. The refills are like $2.50 for a package of 2.
How about glue sticks or glue dots? I seem to find myself using whatever is cheap and sticks. I have tried the tape runner (the blue little one) and it seems to hold pretty good.
I think that glue sticks are a pain. But they are cheap. I don't use glue dots too much but I use glue lines all the time. The glue lines are made by the same people, I think they can be used for more things that the dots. I like them. How are things up there in the frigid north Adele?

Kate I love the blog.
Question: What kind of adhesive are you using in your scrapbooks? I really like the Hermafix however they don't last long and they are expensive.
